Skiset was founded in 1994 on the initiative of former skiing champions like Annie Famose and Leo Lacroix and leading operators like Pierre Favre, Alain & Bernard Front, Patrick Lepeudry and the Skishops.

From the beginning, Skiset’s strategy has been simple: to distinguish itself by its professionalism and quality, in a fiercely competitive environment where the offer is superabundant.

In this market not governed by any particular standards, Skiset asserted itself with a technical charter based on three principles :

  • the limited life of the equipment it offered for hire: 2 years for Silver and Gold categories and 3 years for Bronze
  • security: equipment serviced, checked and maintained after each hire
  • adjustments to fixings are carried out by professionals
